This site belonged to a search consulting firm specializing in placing professional, managerial and executive candidates with Japanese owned and managed companies in the United States. The six to eight recruiters lived and worked apart geographically--they were from California, Tennessee, Michigan and Pennsylvania. They needed to connect with two worlds--potential candidates and Japanese companies doing business in the United States. For WIN, I performed a variety of roles, including:

Developed, prepared all copy for and maintained two websites, one for job candidates, the other for potential clients.
For the Career Advancement section of the Web site directed to candidates, developed a series of articles about applying and working for Japanese companies operating in the U.S. Examples include:

Wrote job descriptions and posted on sites ranging from Monster.com to small niche sites geared to bilinguals.

Gardening and Event-related Articles

For the Penn State Master Gardeners of Butler County, I prepared newspaper articles for upcoming events and gardening subjects. Following are three examples:

College Park Speech and Language Clinic :: CPSLC specializes in working with children and adults who have speech and language disorders. Referrals called clinic personnel for information and the staff found themselves spending too much time on the telephone explaining their services to potential clients. The solution was to create a Web site which would allow prospective clients to review the information at their leisure. I developed this site, created copy where necessary and adapted existing brochures to create remaining copy.

Fields of Grace :: Fields of Grace was a small, family owned retreat. They needed a Web site to attract the world of potential visitors and inform them about the retreat and activities in the area.
